Cutlery used by spoon bender Uri Geller in his sensational TV show last year was left unguarded by the B.B.C. TV director John Beverage said "There should have been someone watching over it all the time. But, when Uri and I walked into his dressing room, the knives and forks from the BBC canteen were there on their own."
Uri caused a sensation last November when he showed David Dimbleby how he bent forks and stopped and started watches by "thought power."
